Welcome to this week’s edition of The Lime Report. We’re sharing some highlights at Limetree Labs where we are always working to keep IT fresh! As Coronavirus has U.S. companies starting to shutter offices and send workers home, the ability to work remotely becomes even more important. Amazon, Facebook, Google and Microsoft all advised Seattle employees to work at home after workers at Facebook and Amazon were diagnosed with the virus. Our goal is to set our customers up for remote work success through technology.
Remote Work, Network Switch
So, what’s your favorite Idaho & Utah IT services company up to this week?
- This week Chadd is deploying a new network switch and firewall for a customer.
- We are enabling more remote working capabilities for our customers.
- Helping a customer streamline their employee onboarding process.
- Chaden is working on getting new customer employees onboarded as well as securely offboarding other employees to ensure the data stays safe during the transition.
- Bobby is working on a large procurement project for one of our new customers. He’s getting the best pricing for the product needed and getting the equipment set-up and shipped out to the users.
- He will be doing a couple of Customer Retention Visits (CRV)—going by to see if we are providing top-notch service to our customers.
- He’ll also be working with our scheduling calendar to make sure we are getting everything done for our awesome customers. We love our customers!
- Ryan is finishing up multiple client projects.
- Configuring a new firewall for a client to include LTE failover as a 3rd option due to their ongoing issues with carriers in the area.
- Deploying a new reporting tool for centralized management and reporting for all client backups.
Beyond the Coronavirus, how are you planning to set your company up for remote work success? In the future, office workers will come to expect remote working opportunities more and more. People who work remotely at least once a month are 24% more likely to be happy and productive.
